I need to set up wifi for my parking lot what do i need to order? I have DSL And a wireless router but it is not strong enough. What kind of Antenna etc.

I would suggest searching for some outdoor wireless access points (WAPs). Cisco makes a nice one called an Aironet (see the link below), but Cisco tends to be a bit pricey. They make good stuff though. If your trucks tend to only park on one side of your stop, then you might be able to get away with just one of these. But if they park on two or more sides, you might need a nice omnidirectional antenna and/or two or more WAPs. (An omnidirectional antenna is an “all around” antenna as opposed to a unidirectional antenna which focuses on one direction.)

The service provider in the area will be able to tell you the speeds that are available in your area. Ps. If you’re trying to share a cable/satellite hookup, your output lessens with each connection and their usage of that bandwidth. Yes you can boost a signal, but thats where you open yourself up to a hack

There are wireless routers you can purchase with increased range. They may be pricey, but the only other way of increasing range without swapping your router is to add Wireless Access Points along the way. Also, make sure that you are using a wireless broadcasting channel that doesn’t have to compete with too many other wireless networks in your area, as it may weaken your signal even further. you can get a repeater and put it out in the middle of the yard or you can connect a hub and 2 wifi out there and cover more distance but you must supply them with power and protection.
a Wifi is, by the book, only good for 300 feet. That ain;t far when your talking about a parking lot for trucks.
You can always run coaxal out and set up a LAN with wifi hubs in a star topology. In short cover the whole yard. You may beable to avoid having to supply an additional power supply depending on how you do it.
