How Do I Use My Cell Phone As A Wireless Modem For My Laptop When I’m Away And There’s No Wifi Hotspot Nearby?

I’m looking to purchase a new cell phone (my current plan is Verizon, could change) that isn’t terribly expensive and that will allow me to connect my laptop to the Web when I’m away from home and there is no WiFi hotspot available. Any suggestions?

If your phone is enabled to do this, there would be two ways…
    1) through Bluetooth, you would run a bluetooth program on your computer and”discover” your Phone…..
    2) via a phone to USB cable(more reliable)
Be advised…The Cell Carriers charge for you to access their HS networks as a data client. you might get away with it once..but eventually you be paying overage charges without a data plan from your carrier…
