How Do I Connect To Wifi At A Wifi Hotspot With An Ipod Touch?

Specifically, if I go to a wifi hot spot like a library or Barnes & Noble with my laptop, I use the pointer to click on their network to connect to their wifi. So with an ipod touch, how would you connect to the wifi? Does it just automatically pick it up, or is there a way to click onto a network to make the connection?

Go to Settings > Wifi > Select the network you want to be on. There is an option at the bottom if you want to connect automatically to wifi if there is one around, but I prefer to leave it off because it drains the battery faster.
